Prenatal & Postnatal
Yoga and Wellness Teacher Training

Our 90- Hour Teacher Training prepares you to teach public prenatal and postnatal yoga classes and to support a pregnant person when they arrive to your public drop-in classes. This course is also extremely useful for pregnant people, doulas, midwives, and labor & delivery nurses.

Birthing Mama is an invitation to see pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a spiritual practice — it’s an invitation for us to wake up, feel our intuition, strength and resilience as we prepare for birth and motherhood.

Pregnancy and Birth are a profound time of transformation and a pathway to awakening. It is a rite of passage that changes our lives forever. A time of miracle, awe and challenge as we witnesses the becoming of a new being inside our bodies.

This transformation is happening daily – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and it is both difficult and wonderful. The practices and wisdom of yoga are a profound support to people going through this life passage.

Lead Teacher

Corinne Andrews

Corinne is the co-director of Shraddhā Yoga, lead teacher of the 100Hr In Depth Study and 200 Hr Embodyoga® Teacher Training, the Developer and lead teacher of the Birthing Mama® 90hr Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga and Wellness Teacher Training, and author of the new book Birthing Mama: Your Companion to a Holistic Pregnancy Journey. She has been teaching yoga to people of all ages (beginning in the womb!) and abilities since 2003.

Corinne trained in Classical Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Baba Hari Das, Embodyoga® with Patty Townsend (on-going since 2004), Shiatsu, Meridian Yoga, Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, MYT for Trauma, On-going Yoga Philosophy Studies, and as a Birth Doula. She is continuously upheld and inspired by her spiritual teacher GurujiMa and is deeply grateful for her presence and teachings of living yoga and a life divine here on earth. Her other great spiritual teachers are her two beloved teenage children and all that they have illuminated for her since conception.

“Attending the Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Corinne has transformed my understanding and connection to birth, motherhood, and the power of the divine feminine. This training was a perfectly-woven fabric of the physical aspects of supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers, through herbal remedies and yoga postures, and building the energetic presence to be truly present with and honor all women and their sacred process of becoming a mother. More than just a PYTT, this training has helped me grow into a better mother, stronger woman, and far more devoted yoga practitioner. I hope the wisdom and love that is so deeply embedded in this training can connect with all those who love mothers and babies far and wide.”

— Lily Vreeland, 2017 Birthing Mama® 90-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
