Empower yourself as a pregnant person
Inform your one-to-one sessions with your yoga students, doula clients, midwifery clients and those you support as an L&D nurse or childbirth educator
Establish a deep and loving working relationship with pregnant people and their families during pregnancy and invite it to naturally flow into being their postpartum doula
The foundation of Birthing Mama is love. This teacher training offers techniques to manifest generosity and care, and to build a sustainable teaching practice. Trainees are asked to participate in self-reflection, class design and leadership, and exercises that strengthen our knowledge and intuition about the body and soul during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
The training consists of 23 video sessions that have been edited from the 2021 Livestream 90hr Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga and Wellness Teacher Training. You get to enjoy the convenience of an asynchronous course where you can work at your own pace while still receiving the warmth and personal relationship.

“Birthing Mama, taught by Corinne Andrews of Shraddha Yoga, is an incredible perinatal yoga training program that I would recommend to all birth workers. The training is comprehensive, covering conception to postpartum (which in Birthing Mama is considered 5 years after birth), with in-depth explorations into all aspects of pregnancy. Something I loved about Birthing Mama is that despite its name, it is designed for all gestating parents and is body inclusive and gender affirming. It also covers the perinatal experience for more than white bodies with emphasis on Black birthers which I found to be so important and illuminating. Thank you to Corinne for creating this lovely work!”

“Attending the Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Corinne has transformed my understanding and connection to birth, motherhood, and the power of the divine feminine. This training was a perfectly-woven fabric of the physical aspects of supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers, through herbal remedies and yoga postures, and building the energetic presence to be truly present with and honor all women and their sacred process of becoming a mother. More than just a PYTT, this training has helped me grow into a better mother, stronger woman, and far more devoted yoga practitioner. I hope the wisdom and love that is so deeply embedded in this training can connect with all those who love mothers and babies far and wide.”
